The Human Factors Engineering and Ergonomics Center has a student chapter of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society. The Society is the principal professional association in human factors.

The Human Factors and Ergonomics Society Student Chapter Web site contains information about membership, its members and their interests, links to other important Web sites, as well as activity information. The student chapter is involved in attending conferences and bringing guest speakers to Virginia Tech.
